I don't believe in god, if I did the earthquake in Haiti would be final proof fo me that  one doesn't exist. When I lived in France I worked for Medecins Sans Fronieres during the Romanian Revolution and have gathered old eyeglasses peridically to send to poor underserved countries... anyone know of a great way to help poor Haiti,... preferable more active then just donating $$? I suggested a bake sale at my kids school...  some folks from the school had a table at a street fair and we all baked and they made $1000, I think, for Obama's campaign, so every little bit helps...I just thought if there was an unusual way to help --gathering unused/expired meds ( I did this in France b/c there weren't liabilities there are here and then I sent them to Romania way back in the 20th century) --pre internet--but I also recall earthquakes in So. America in the 70's and gathering blankets... Ialso sw that Wyclif Jean and Edwidge Dandicat (Haitian award winning author --read her work!!) might have set up funds....  Anyone have any ideas-- I couldn't sleep last night thinking about the people of HAiti who ahve suffered so much! MAYBE MOMSLIKE ME CAN ORGANIZE A DRIVE FOR KIDS GEAR or something???
